Columbus, Ohio / Mount Vernon, Ohio Senior Portrait Photographer || Class of 2023: Justus
First of all, Justus’ senior session was SO MUCH FUN! Her family friends hosted us on their bee farm in Mount Vernon, Ohio and were such gracious and kind hosts! They have an INCREDIBLE and beautiful farm that was so picture-esqe. We used their flower garden area for parts of her session and then had many laughs and silly moments back in the sunflower field. Can I just tell you how AWESOME it is to have a sunflower field all to yourself and your clients?! A DREAM!
Justus chose some really cute outfits that matched beautifully with her location. I love how she did her hair too! She brought along her sister and mom too. I loved hearing them ‘ooh’ and ‘ahhh’ over Justus. I think this is one of the most memorable moments we can have in our lives. I remember my senior pictures so clearly myself and exactly how the day went. I love thinking about how these aren’t just where you show up and get pictures… it’s a celebratory moment for families. You have a senior excited for this season of life, parent(s) that are proud of their child and should be celebrating themselves for getting their child to this point, and then you have siblings who either are older and can’t believe the moment is here or younger who are looking up to their sibling…. Sometimes the hustle of life makes us overlook all the perspectives in the moments we share with each other. Justus and her family were a precious reminder of how beautiful life’s moments can be if we just take a minute to savor it.
Justus, you are such a sweet soul. Thank you for choosing me. My goodness do I wish you all the happiness and success that you find as you venture into adulthood. The world is an incredibly wild place, take advantage of it and find your place in it. (I have no doubt that you will!)
