What feels like many moons ago, I met Dalton at a wedding. He appeared as a fun loving guy who was serving as a groomsmen in his brother’s wedding. It was the first day that I had met many of the Stambaugh clan (while we all tried to hold down Sara & Lance’s wedding tent during a storm… It is so funny to look back on now!)

So over these years, during family photos, we had him cuddled up to a beer can while everyone else had a partner. But the tides have changed. Dalton found his better half, Katie. Katie is always a bright smile when I see her. She makes Dalton light up in a way that I have never seen. I like to think she keeps him on his best behavior too! ;)

I love this part of my job where you see someone change to be even better… not because of a material thing or something you can buy in a store but because of another soul that touched their life in a positive way. I see that with these two in just the few times I have gotten to be around them and interact with them. With that said, it’s a true privilege to have two people welcome you into a part of their lives that means so much, such as this engagement. I loved capturing the joy they bring to each other. It’s relationships like these that make me love what I do.
