Hocking Hills Ohio Wedding Photographer || The Seventy Five: Vanessa & Joseph
Let me just first start by saying that Vanessa and Joseph adorned their entire wedding day with bright flowers, Taylor Swift references, and sweet reminders of their dogs so I’m going to be completely biased and say this might have been my favorite wedding, ever. With our over 200+ weddings photographed, it’s a top contender, that’s for sure. I’m honestly blown away by how incredibly this couple chose to represent their relationship and celebrate with 75 of their chosen family. They were incredibly genuine to who they were as a couple and placing that in the symbolism throughout the day. Even Joseph, the man of the day, had his own song to walk down the aisle to. (and rightfully so! More grooms SHOULD do that!) But his song selection had his mom both in tears and laughing. Vanessa, with her sweet father, walked down the aisle to the most beautiful variation of Enchanted by Taylor Swift. It was so beautiful even Jon (my husband and second photographer) admitted he was in tears.
I don’t know how it gets better than this, even with storms knocking at the door of this wedding day. All because of this couple’s focus on the love they have for each other. They could not have cared less if it was raining, it was about each of them, looking over at one another throughout the day, sharing laughs and knowing they are now husband and wife, the rest is history. I couldn’t be more thrilled or thankful that I got to capture it, remember it. There are so many details from this wedding, it will likely need it’s own post in the coming weeks and couldn’t fit in this one blog post. BUT, I edited up a few of the MANY photos from their day that really represent their love story, (well one day of it really!) to show the proof that this wedding day was no hoax and truly was sweeter than fiction.
