Marengo Ohio Wedding Photographer || The Brook: Gretchen & Wes
Today was absolutely fitting for this wedding to hit our blog… Many of those in our area were startled awake last night to loud storms and tornado sirens. While all those things are negative events to derail your day, I thought it would be a beautiful reminder that sometimes the rain and storms can create memories and sweet moments especially on a wedding day.
Gretchen and Wes had this beautiful woodland wedding at The Brook in Marengo, Ohio. I loved that they chose greens, shades of white and grey are their wedding color palette to compliment their venue and aesthetic. It was early Spring and just a bit of rain started to move in. Luckily, this couple went with the flow and embraced what nature provided them with! (I personally feel like rainy wedding days embraced by the couple can be so incredibly romantic. But that’s just my humble opinion!) Gretchen also had this really beautiful wedding cape instead of a traditional, on-the-head veil. It really looked so whimsical and fit her style so well. Gretchen and Wes spent the day having many meaningful moments with their loved ones that we enjoyed capturing.
