Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer || Elliot’s In-Home Newborn Session

After this session, I got in the car with my husband and said, ‘These people invited me into their home, shared their story with me and allowed me to hold and photograph the most treasured thing they have in this world… their son. How did I get so lucky?’ That’s exactly how I feel about this session. These could not be nicer people, with the sweetest little dog named Fable, who trusted me to photograph pictures they have been dreaming one day to have… Little Elliott might have been THE SLEEPIEST newborn I have had so far this year. Little man didn’t mind us photographing him ONE BIT! He is just the most darling boy… but that photo of him and his puppy dog. Oh boy, I fight tears looking at it. When I photograph these newborns with their pets, I can’t help but daydream about all the fun they are going to have. How, in just a few months, Elliott will toss puffs or cheerios onto the floor and Fable will happily clean them up. Life is beautiful.
