I honestly have to be careful about this blog post because I could go on and on about this couple and how much I adore them. Kenlee and Tyler are a perfect example of what we build with our clients. What feels like many moons ago, I photographed their engagement session, then their wedding day, and since then, we’ve photographed extended family sessions and their friend’s wedding days! We have no come to, this spectacular day, that their family and friends have waited for…. but no one has been more excited for this moment than Kenlee and Tyler, themselves!
I also wanted to share what I did with Kenlee to prepare for this very special session. For all my clients, I help with planning their session. From studio, colors, clothes, poses… anything I can help with. So Kenlee chose this studio from various ones available and then I created a ‘treatment’ for their attire to help her navigate colors, silhouettes, and textures in their clothing for the session. This allows clients to see a narrowed down version of all the options out in the world. Not only did I included suggested clothing for both of them, I included visuals like a color palette and inspiration photos to help them see the suggestions all together! Outfits can be the most overwhelming part of a session and helping clients through that is part of my job. So here is what I sent Kenlee and it allowed her and Tyler to use that as a guide which resulted in the session below! I think they did an incredible job!
