Columbus Ohio Wedding Photographer || Alex & Laura’s Engagement Photos

Alex and Laura are some of the funnest people! Arriving at their session, I was already happy we had beautiful weather but they also made the session so great. These two are not afraid to be themselves and just enjoy the moment. I think that speaks through the photo you see below. When I first spoke with these two about their photography, Laura said, “We want the photographer to capture the realness of the day and for our photos look authentic.” I knew these two were perfect for the type of photography I deliver to my clients. Photography was never meant to be a social token to be showcased as “Hey, look, I’ve got it all together!” but rather it’s documenting the crinkling in the corners of the eyes of your loved one when they smile or the way your loved one scrunches up their nose when they laugh too hard. Photography is to embody the uniqueness of the people we love. I think we did that during this session. I can’t wait to capture them on their wedding day later this year!
