Marengo, Ohio / Columbus, Ohio Family Photographer || The Hill Family’s Maternity Portraits
Nathan and Ashley’s family has grown before my camera over the year. This session means so much to me for MANY reasons! Ashley and Nathan had their first session with me years ago when we photographed, what I think is, ICONIC winter maternity images! There was a frozen waterfall, snow, it was STUNNING! Since then I have been to privileged to document their family and it’s growth.
For their session, I searched high and low for a perfect location. I was thinking too hard, to be honest. Jon said, ‘Why don’t you use our farm? I think it’s great!” and he was so right. I walked the land with the mindset of light and portraits and it was decided. I was truly excited to host this very special family for the first time on our very own farm!
This family’s journey is so beautiful, looking back at it all and then seeing these portraits. I’m so thankful they allowed me to photograph them again as they get ready to welcome their newest family member into their clan!
